→ Condiments

04 - 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

# How to Make It:

01 - Arrange alternating slices of tomato and mozzarella on a large platter, slightly overlapping each piece
02 - Tuck fresh basil leaves between the tomato and mozzarella slices
03 - Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the salad, followed by the balsamic glaze
04 - Sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Serve immediately as a side or appetizer

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It takes literally ten minutes from start to finish but looks like you spent hours arranging it beautifully
  • The combination of ripe tomatoes and creamy mozzarella is somehow greater than the sum of its parts
02 -
  • Cold tomatoes straight from the refrigerator lose half their flavor, so let them sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes
  • The salad starts looking sad after an hour, so time it right before serving
03 -
  • Pat your mozzarella dry with paper towels to prevent watering down your beautiful glaze
  • If your balsamic glaze is too thick, warm it for ten seconds in the microwave
